Cardi B Defends Offset Amid "Queers" Lyric Controversy...!

Cardi B has chosen to stand by her fiancé Offset amid controversy surrounding his “I cannot vibe with queers” lyric on YFN Lucci’s “Boss Life.”
In a livestream uploaded to social media, Cardi explained that Offset is not homophobic and shows the LGBTQ community the same respect he shows others.

“I’m not gonna let somebody call him homophobic when I know that he’s not,” Cardi said. “And I’m saying this because I see him around gays. And he treats them with the same respect he treats everybody. He never acts uncomfortable. And he just don’t care.”

Prior to coming to Offset’s defense in the video, Cardi questioned why people are quick to attack rather than educate. The creator of “Bodak Yellow” even recalled a time when she was criticized for her use of the word “tranny.”

“What is the point of you trying to argue and not educate?” she said. “In our school they let us know what type of words you can’t use. They never taught me that … so, how am I supposed to know? So, because I used a word that I didn’t know you not supposed to say, you gonna label me something. Why don’t you educate me and say, ‘Hey, you know you’re not supposed to use that word. You know that’s derogatory.'”

Offset has since apologized for his use of the word “queers” on “Boss Life.”
“I apologize to anybody I offended by the word ‘queer’ I was not referring to sexuality,” the Migos star wrote in an apology last week.
